EHCP Consultation
Children and young people with special educational needs up to the age of 25 may be entitled to an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to provide them with additional support and resources. Our highly experienced independent EHCP consultants can advise you on all matters related to an EHCP to help deliver the best outcome for your child.

Step 1: Beginners' Guide to the EHCP proces
Our consultants can support parents who are completely new to the EHCP process, by providing a simple guide on how the process works and discussing the possible options regarding your child.
Step 2: Drafting an EHCP
An EHCP is an extensive document requiring input from multiple individuals (including parents, children (where appropriate) and specialised therapists). Our consultants are able to review and provide feedback on draft EHCP documents before they are submitted for review by the relevant Local Authority.
Step 3: Submitting an EHCP and Engaging with the Local Authority
Once an EHCP has been submitted, it is reviewed by the Local Authority, who provides feedback on the proposed outcome. Our consultants are available to discuss the options available in reviewing and responding to feedback from the Local Authority (including how the appeal / tribunal mechanism works) if you are at this stage of the process.
